The staked sediment barrier uses marine A grade PVC fabric with a 350 lb tensile strength, and is staked to the perimeter of project areas with high flow stormwater runoff. The staked turbidity barrier meets FDOT and US DOT requirements for erosion and sediment control. It is not your standard silt fence , and is made of yellow impermeable PVC rather than woven geotextile. It can also be used to direct and manage stormwater runoff to settling ponds or retention basins. Additionally, staked turbidity barrier can be a turbidity control solution in shallow water projects, such as ditches or canals with a depth of up to 30 inches.
