Portable liquid storage is useful across a range of city applications. Rather than transporting all trucks and other heavy equipment to one central location, water and other liquids can come to them using portable liquid tank trailers.
Water trailers allow employees to bring water to locations throughout the city or county. Parks and Recreation can water trees and other landscaping greenery, while Transport Infrastructure can suppress dust during road construction. Available with tank capacities ranging from 300 to 1,600 gallons, our water trailer models are DOT Compliant for road travel across the community.
Fuel trailers make it easier to keep equipment running while working on building or road construction. Many cities use trucks and machinery that run on diesel fuel. Due to their heavy-duty steel construction, fuel trailers can also be used to haul motor oil or liquid wastes. Available in both standard and DOT Compliant models, fuel trailers service one large area, such as an airport or fleet maintenance hub, or travel between buildings and sites.
Flexible tanks, also known as collapsible tanks, provide collapsible solutions for temporary liquid storage during repairs, maintenance, and Emergency Management situations.
Constructed from different application-specific fabrics, collapsible pillow tanks can hold potable water, gray water, and even some types of fuel. They are designed to lay flat on a level surface when is in use, and pillow tanks are easily folded, stored, or shipped when not deployed. Capacities range from 25 to 210,000 gallons.
Quick to set up and deploy, onion tanks are open top, self-rising liquid storage tanks. First responders have used them for quick, temporary water storage while fighting fires, while they've also stored emergency potable water after a natural disaster. Multiple fabric options are available with capacities from 250 to 10,000 gallons.
Also known as quick setup tanks, frame tanks are square, open top tanks. The foldable, hinged frame allows the tank to lay flat when not in use for easy storage and transportation. As with our other collapsible flexible tanks, customizable fabric options allow frame tanks to be used across a variety of applications. Because they can be quickly set up to store water, frame tanks are a great addition to your emergency preparedness supplies plan. From 500 to 5,000 gallons, frame tanks offer the smallest capacity range.
Bulk storage tanks offer large liquid storage to any municipal department and particularly to Water Management. Different models and fittings are available, depending on the final application and placement.
As the strongest of our tanks, steel tanks can hold most liquids, depending on the final construction. They are available in different models – corrugated, bolted, and welded. Some can be installed above or below ground, while others are only suitable above ground. Due to the model selection, capacities cover most needs, ranging from 350 gallons to over 600,000. Plastic tanks use a polyethylene material to create rigid tanks for either potable or non-potable water. Above ground poly tanks use a UV- stabilized covering, but below ground models are available as well. Capacities range from 300 to 10,000 gallons, but additional bulk storage tank sizes may be obtainable, depending on placement and final use.
Fiberglass tanks are popular choices among cities and other municipalities, as they can withstand extreme temperatures and offer strong corrosion resistance. While often used for water storage, fiberglass tanks also work for liquid storage as well. Sizing is dependent on whether the fiberglass bulk storage tank will be above or below ground, but the general range is 300 to 40,000 gallons.
