Because of their 2-inch or 4-inch sides, foam wall berms are best suited for short-term washes and smaller containment leaks. Different accessories can be used with the foam wall berm, from berm runners to heavy duty tread pads. A geotextile mat can also be used under the berm but should be placed in the berm location prior to installing the spill containment berm.

Before using any spill containment barriers or berms, ensure that ground is level and free from debris. Move berm to installation location and unroll. Unfold both sides of the berm until it is lying flat and the foam walls are in position. Make sure the grommets are not facing in.
If using berm runners, place them onto the berm, flat over the foam walls where the vehicle will be entering and exiting. Ensure that the space for the runners matches the width of the tires of the vehicle.
Drive the vehicle carefully onto the berm.
