Collapsible Tanks

Available in a wide range of sizes, flexible pillow tanks are collapsible bladders for water, certain types of fuel, and oil. The fabric used for construction depends upon the intended application. All our collapsible water tanks are strong and reliable, created with state-of-the-art vulcanizing and heat welding techniques. The low profile design allows pillow tanks to fit areas that won't work for traditional rigid bulk tanks.

Pillow tanks are versatile and able to accommodate many different applications. Some cities and counties will often use them to hold collected rainwater for municipal services, such as landscape watering, public consumption, or fire suppression. Having a ready supply allows the local government to save time and money without straining the city's water system.

Clarion Municipal offers open top onion tanks for the temporary storage of water or other liquids. All tanks feature self-rising walls for quick setup and easy access fittings for draining. Depending on the application, onion tanks are constructed of either heavy-duty PVC or potable-safe Elvaloy. Both low and high walls are available to fit different spaces. Onion tank accessories include covers and ground cloths.

While onion tanks are invaluable for emergency water storage, they have also been used as decontamination or mixing tanks. Parks and Recreation department employees use collapsible storage tanks to temporarily hold water from fountains or small pools in public areas during repair or cleaning.

Frame Tanks combine rigidity and flexibility in one portable temporary water storage unit. The hinged outer frame, available in either aluminum or steel, creates a solid, fixed shape strong enough to support many gallons of water. Attached to the frame using sturdy rope, the interior liner easily contains most liquids. Liners can be constructed in a variety of fabrics, including NSF 61 and FDA approved materials suitable for potable water. When not in use, the frame tanks quickly fold flat for storage and transportation.

Frame tanks are often used by Emergency Management services. Firefighters need collapsible tanks to temporarily store water necessary for extinguishing fires. During power and water outages after natural disasters, first responders can use folding firefighter water tanks to hold large amounts of potable water for community distribution.
