Folding Frame Tanks

Both rigid and flexible, folding frame tanks come in one piece for fast setup and tear down, folding flat for convenient transport and storage. Made of either aluminum or steel, the outer frame is designed to support the interior liner. The side mounted stabilizing flange plate assembly will help keep the flow of water and eliminated any lift. The assembly includes: the mounting plate and flange (sizes available are 4", 5", and 6".). The mounting plate is also adaptable to any folding frame tank and model.

Liners for foldable frame tanks can be constructed of different fabrics including NSF 61 and FDA- approved materials, which are suitable for potable water.

Municipalities will find an array of uses with the foldable water tank. Fire fighters can use foldable water tanks for emergency water storage when needing to temporarily store water to extinguish fires. During power and water outages after natural disasters, folding frame tanks can be used by Emergency Management for potable water storage.

HPR (High Performance Rubber in Yellow or Red), 22 oz. Vinyl (in Red, Yellow, Orange, Black, or Blue), or 28 oz. Vinyl (Red, Yellow Orange, Black, or Blue). Depending on the uses and applications of the collapsible water tank, other reliable fabrics may be used. You can also order 22 oz. sides with a 28 oz. floor. We also have the Single Lane Tank Max Folding Frame Tank. The SLT Max can turn a standard size frame tank into a giant capacity tank for different applications. These can include large scale industrial fires. Essentially, the Single Lane Tank Max adds an extra bladder onto a folding frame tank, giving it extra water storage capacity.

The complete SLT (Single Lane Tank) System, you would get two (2) 8'x14'x29″ tanks, a mounting plate with one (1) female swivel and flange for the outside and one (1) male flange for the inside of the tank, size 4" to 6". You also get a standard 6" al mag casting 90 degree elbow or optional 6" tubing 90 degree elbow, Flex-Lite Hose (4" to 6"), and Low Flow Strainer (4" to 6").

To set up your folding frame tank initially, make sure the area is free of debris and sharp objects. Setting up the tank on a flat surface, not a slope, is ideal. Fold open frame pieces, square corners and use hardware to secure frame tank.

Unroll tank liner, and put it inside the frame. Make sure seams are parallel to the frame, and lace the rope through the grommets around the frame.

When ready to use the folding frame tank, again, make sure the ground is clear of debris, sharp objects, and items that might harm the tank. Optionally, you might decide to set out a berm liner or ground cloth to catch any spills.

Unfold the tank, checking to make sure the liner is working properly and is not impeded by the frame. Check drains, fittings, and discharge valves to ensure they are closed and the tank is ready to be filled.

When ready to empty the tank, connect hoses to discharge ports and open the gate or ball valve. Using a pump can speed up the discharge process.
